Firstly I love the colour orange. Second, an orange/gold fish is a classic theme. I love the fresh, bright energy a magikarp gives whilst still being a unique silly choice. Plus it's easy to find orange fish themed stuff, even if it's not magikarp specific merch. I love this idiot.
